Ardmore Construction has been appointed as main contractor by Network Housing to deliver 92 new homes at Albermarle House, Stockwell Park. Under a £14.7m contract, Ardmore will start the design and construction immediately.

The scheme will create 92 private modern apartments in a mixed use scheme that aims to create a new and vibrant gateway to the Stockwell Park Estate. The development consists of three new blocks within two complementary buildings, one of which will provide new offices on the ground floor for Community Housing Trust who own and manage the estate.

Alongside the construction work, Ardmore is committed to providing a wide range of community support activities to promote community involvement from the estate. Throughout the project, Ardmore will support Network by providing community fun days and school workshops as well as apprenticeship and sustainable employment opportunities for current residents.

The high-quality contemporary building, is aiming for a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, with a practical completion expected by September 2014.
