Some £375m worth of work could be opened up to construction firms over the next four years with the renewal of the East Midlands construction framework.
Firms can now begin tendering for work through the renewed regional framework, which follows the publication of the OJEU notice by council controlled company Scape - which manages the East Midlands Property Alliance (EMPA).
Development director at Scape, Alan Coole, said: “This is the start of an exciting phase of development for some of our regional frameworks. These frameworks have been designed to provide an opportunity for SME’s to be involved to ensure projects wherever possible are delivered by local firms.”
