The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Group is to unveil plans for its new conference centre, Resorts World Birmingham, at International Confex 2013, according to Conference News.
The £150m complex is based at the NEC in Birmingham.
NEC Group said the Resorts World Birmingham would be the first of its kind in Europe and one of the UK's largest integrated venues.
It is understood the conference centre facilities will be able to accommodate up to 1,300 delegates in five purpose-built rooms.
As well as the above, the development includes:
* A 4 star hotel with ten 50star VIP suites
* A designer outlet centre with 45 units
* An eleven-screen cinema
* Restaurants
* Bars
* A casino, operated by Genting Casinos
Speaking about the plans, CEO of the NEC Group Paul Thandi, said: "Resorts World Birmingham supports the continued growth of the NEC brand and marks an important step in our wider vision to make the NEC site more of a destination for work and leisure, 365 days a year, 24/7. I am confident that Resorts World will be a game changing addition to the NEC site."
The NEC Group will be responsible for the 4,180sqm conference and banqueting centre, while the sales, marketing and day-to-day management of the building will be operated by the International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham.
The complex is expected to open in spring 2015.
