Turner & Townsend has announced that from 18 March its Hong Kong office will merge with chartered quantity surveyors and cost consultants H.A. Brechin & Co. Ltd to form Turner & Townsend Brechin Ltd.

H.A. Brechin, which has a 100-strong workforce spread across Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Macau, specialises in delivering cost and quantity surveying consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. These clients will benefit from being able to draw on our international capabilities and broad service offering.

The merger will further open up market opportunities for us in Asia, increasing its access to larger projects and higher profile clients in Hong Kong, especially within the public sector.

H.A. Brechin's clients include Hong Kong Airport Authority, Swire and Hong Kong MTRC. The firm also works with local government departments including the Architectural Services Department, Hospital Authority and the Highways Department.

Turner & Townsend is currently working on a number of programmes in Asia, including ongoing work for Microsoft, BP and Shell.
