Speedy depots, specialising in A HREF= 'http://www.speedyservices.com' TARGET = '_NEW'>industrial equipment supply, have received awards from the UK's leading construction and regeneration group after being recognised for their outstanding service and high quality equipment.
The depots in Huddersfield and Bradford, Teesside and Scunthorpe were specifically highlighted by directors from Morgan Sindall plc, after noticeably going the extra mile by working out of hours and providing extra support for its partnering brand.
Speedy was also recognised for its excellent performance after being measured via the Morgan Sindall 'Perfect Delivery' culture. The culture, which Speedy has also implemented, embraces 'continuous improvement' towards service and quality. The 'Perfect Delivery' commitments are on every delivery ticket given by Speedy and will soon also feature on every collection and exchange tickets too.
With a strong relationship formed between the two companies, having worked together since 2004, the Speedy depot managers were personally presented with their awards by Jonathan Hall, Morgan Sindall’s Plant Director.
Further awards were given to Peter Stone (Huddersfield) and Willy Heavyside (Bradford), Adrian Stead, Speedy’s regional account manager, and regional manager for Speedy Power, Tracey Halkett, who were also singled out for their commitment to Morgan Sindall.
Adrian Stead, said: "I am delighted that our region has been recognised for our services. Morgan Sindall is a very valuable customer to us and it's fantastic to hear that they have been so impressed with our extra efforts to ensure the best service.
"We put customer services at the forefront of our business and we pride ourselves on being as helpful as possible and providing the best equipment. Every piece of equipment supplied by Speedy is thoroughly checked over before delivery and equipment is always repaired or replaced where appropriate."
As their strategic partner, Speedy's partnership with Morgan Sindall enables customers to gain access to all of its resources, from products and services to an extensive network of sector specialists and technical expertise. Alongside that, Speedy also provides on-site facilities for Morgan Sindall with the resources and infrastructure to maximise productivity on many major projects.
Speaking after awarding the accolades, Morgan Sindall’s Jonathan Hall, said: "We have been very impressed by the service provided by Speedy, particularly from the Huddersfield, Bradford, Teesside and Scunthorpe depots. The standard of equipment delivered, their punctuality and very helpful staff have a huge impact on our business and they have certainly helped make the process a lot easier.
"We value the service Speedy provides to Morgan Sindall and this is a small token of our appreciation for the depots."
