Houses4Homes (H4H) has opened its doors for developers and contractors to make funding applications with successful bidders also put forward for preferred contractor status.
H4H is accepting interest from developers on projects valued between £500,000 and £25 million.
The typical works being commissioned by H4H REIT include new build social housing, extensions, adaptations and refurbishment works on extra care facilities to support demand from elderly or disabled tenants.
Phil Shanks, Chief Executive Officer at Houses4Homes, explained: "As part of the Government's Best Value agenda and in line with key construction strategies, such as Rethinking Construction and Accelerating Change, H4H REIT is seeking development partners to assist in meeting the nation’s substantial social housing demand.
"We commission social, extra care and specialist supported housing to registered housing associations based on the strategic housing plans of local authorities throughout the country.
"With plans to commission more than a billion pounds of housing in the next few years, we are now seeking development partners with the capacity and drive to supply us with turnkey solutions to meet those housing needs. We offer a guaranteed purchase for each house completed with full visibility of funds throughout the development process at a pre agreed price with a pre agreed delivery date."
