Acclaim For Applied Landscape Design At Industry Awards

(Local) Landscape Architect Practice, Applied Landscape Design has enjoyed a night of success at the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on the 7th December.

Prior to the event, Oxford based business Applied Landscape Design, were thrilled to be shortlisted for their involvement as lead designers and project managers across three award categories at the prestigious industry celebration: For 'Jubilee Gardens on London's South Bank' in the Hard Landscaping Category (construction cost over £1.5m), for 'de Laszlo House, Hampstead' in the Green Roof Installations and Roof Gardens Category and for 'Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Measures' in the Best Innovation and Technology used in a Landscape Scheme.

Kym Jones, Managing Director at Applied Landscape Design said: "Nomination in not just one, but in three different categories demonstrates our dedication to deliver excellence on each and every project we undertake. It also highlights the diverse range of skills and technical expertise offered by my professional team."

During the ceremony itself, the Applied Landscape Design team were thrilled to find out that the projects they have been associated with had been successful as 'Principal Winners' in one award, and 'Winners' in two further awards. No small achievement in just one night!

Industry acknowledgement of their achievements marks the end of another highly successful year for Applied Landscape Design. A year when they have celebrated their 10th Anniversary in business and participated in their highest profile projects, including the widely acclaimed Public Realm and Streetscape of the London 2012 Olympic Athletes Village.
