Tiles Porcelain Supply The Metro Centre With Jura Limestone Tiles

The Metrocentre in Gateshead, South Tyneside is the largest shopping centre in the UK. The complex, which first opened in 1986, was subject to a regeneration project last year in which Tiles Porcelain supplied Limestone tiles for the main flooring areas.

Flooring experts, set with the task of acquiring a suitable material to cope with the extreme levels of foot traffic, chose the Cream Honed Jura Limestone tiles. These hard wearing limestone tiles are sourced direct from the Jura Mountains in Germany. The subtle colours and fossil inclusions make these tiles a popular choice for both residential and commercial projects. With a slip resistant matt finish, these tiles provide a safe option for floors.
