Lovell is celebrating entering the Midlands region's premier property awards for the first time by taking home the Residential Developer of the Year Award in the Insider West Midlands Property Awards 2012.
Lovell, whose Midlands region is based in Halesowen and head office in Tamworth, focused on two very different projects in its Award submission. Firstly its development in Old Arley, Warwickshire, where the company created a highly successful mixed tenure scheme in a rural community, comprising 16 affordable bungalows for housing association Midland Heart and 14 open market sale homes sold by Lovell itself.
Secondly, the company focused on the latest phase of work at Camp Hill in Nuneaton. In an area that was in need of regeneration, Lovell has built homes ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom houses, all of which have served to regenerate the area and provide high-quality, excellent-value new homes for local people. The company continues to build at its Renaissance development in Camp Hill and has some exceptional three and four-bedroom homes available, as well as numerous incentive schemes to help buyers purchase their new home.
The Award was presented to the Lovell team in front of 450 property professionals at Birmingham's Metropole Hotel by the host of the Awards, Gyles Brandreth.
