Kier's asset management business was recognised for its partnership with Sheffield City Council at the Premises & Facilities Management (P&FM) Awards.

The team won the 'Partners in FM – Corporate' category, which recognises organisations that successfully enter into strategic partnerships where a wide range of support and FM services are delivered and managed for a large corporate or public sector client.

Kier has supplied a range of property and FM services to over 4,000 Sheffield City Council properties since 2009. This 'Outstanding Sheffield Programme' delivers a strategic approach to the property portfolio bringing better value for money and customer satisfaction with reduced costs.

The judges said: "This partnership is an excellent example of two parties working closely together demonstrating trust and openness. A number of mutual benefits have been achieved in cost reductions, service improvements and organisational development and growth."
