Lakehouse has announced that it has acquired Allied Protection Limited, a leading provider of fire detection and alarm systems.
Like Lakehouse, Allied Protection specialises in working within the social housing sector and its clients include Circle Anglia, A2 Dominion, Southern Housing Group and the Notting Hill Housing Trust.
Allied Protection offers a comprehensive service maintaining and servicing fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire suppression systems, extinguishers, and access control systems, throughout East Anglia, South and South East England.
This latest acquisition is part of Lakehouse's strategy to expand its offering within the compliance sector, and widen its geographical area of operation. Both business owners, Jamie Dawson and Tim Dawson, together with the entire management team, will remain with Allied Protection as part of the enlarged Lakehouse group.
Managing Director Jamie Dawson said: "We are delighted to have become part of the Lakehouse Group. Whilst we have experienced great success to date, thanks to our loyal customers and dedicated staff, we know that we can achieve much more being part of a larger group than we ever could alone. We have many similar clients and a strong mutual desire to deliver a very personal service to our customers. We are very excited about all the opportunities that working with Lakehouse will bring."
