AnyScale Ltd are about to release a new version of their QuickScale software. QuickScale is for taking measurements off pdf drawings after plotting the scale of the drawing and one site measurement.
You can take measurements and areas and print the drawing to scale on any size printer from A4 to plotters. You don't need to print the drawing or go to site to get your measurements.
The new version will let you chose different area and measurement colours and will read other format drawings as well as pdf. It will also let you download drawings straight from cloud files which is fast becoming the preferred way for contractors to send out their drawings.
There will be a pay-as-you-go version which allows you to buy a few hours use of QuickScale and top-up when needed. This will be suitable to those who measure drawings infrequently.
The single licence for one computer only will remain at £199. The USB version that runs QuickScale on whichever PC the USB is plugged into will remain at £299 (excl VAT). These are one-off payments with no contracts or annual fees.
