Costain's Energy & Process Division has surpassed four million man hours without a lost time incident.

This achievement is of major significance especially given the portfolio of challenging and complex projects that the division is currently undertaking. From oil & gas (UK and overseas), to nuclear process and power, Costain's approach to safety, health and the environment has been unremitting.

John Meakin, Costain Energy & Process Operations Director said: "This is a fantastic achievement that has been delivered through embedding a behavioural based safety culture across the organisation and implementing a continuous programme of front line supervision training and coaching. I would like to take the opportunity to thank our teams working on projects across the UK and overseas for delivering this milestone."
