Bangor Hospital In North Wales Gets New Screen

Although we are specialists in doors and doorsets we also manufacture a number of screens too! We were recently approached by someone in the healthcare industry as they wanted a screen which would provide a barrier separating the operating theatre and the scrub area as infection control had requested.

Bangor Hospital is situated in North Wales and as mentioned they had been told by infection control that there would need to be a screen put in place in order to stop any unnecessary bacteria, infections or any other germs spreading from the scrub area where the surgeons cleaned up in preparation for an operation and the actual operating theatre.

Bespoke Complete Services Ltd suggested a "white trespa" product which would mean that there would be no need for any joints and this would prevent unnecessary bacteria, infections and other germs forming just as the brief required. This was particular challenging due to the size, hence the use of trespa.

As everything is done in our own factory we are able to supply a number of laminate faced doorsets, pre-hung in fully finished steamed beech door frames in FD30, FD60 and NFR applications.

We made an additional add on to the screens and doors by suppling them with all the necessary protection plates and door furniture. All of our door furniture was factory fitted and this eradicated the need for contractors to do this on site.

You can see from the picture above that our work is carried out to extreme high quality and the results achieved were outstanding.

If you require a screen or high quality doors and doorsets then please contact us today on 01254 777142 or email [email protected].
