Cambridge Ecology Ltd has successfully been commissioned to provide high quality and professional ecological support to Cambridgeshire CC and Atkins Ltd at Chesterton Sidings, Cambridge.
This is required as part of a major infra-structure project to create a new railway station and public transport interchange for north Cambridge. The ecological support work has involved carrying out a suite of general habitat and specialist protected species surveys and reporting the findings. The survey results have been used to provide practical support and advice to ensure that important ecological features, such as nesting birds and reptiles that are fully protected by various national and international legislation are not adversely affected by the construction works and do not significantly delay the project.
