A decision to relocate a Hull City Council customer service centre has been approved by the Leader of Hull City Council.
Hull City Council's Northpoint Customer Service Centre will relocate to the New Bransholme Health Centre on Goodhart Road later this year working in partnership with NHS Hull and other partners to bring services under one roof.
Councillor John Hewitt, Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhoods and Families, said: "The relocation of the customer service centre is all about putting the customer first. The current location is not fit for purpose and is not up to standard and we have listened to our customers who have struggled with the lack of space and privacy at the existing centre.
"We are looking forward to relocating to improve the facilities and services that will benefit the residents of Bransholme.
"This new building will look fantastic and will bring improved facilities to the CSC and will allow us to deliver a more personal and approachable service to customers. There will be a large customer service space where staff will be able support residents."
Louise Ramsay, Associate Director (Estates & Facilities), NHS Hull, said: "Once more, we're pleased to be working in partnership with Hull City Council to provide a range of services to local people under one roof.
"We are confident that the inclusion of a Customer Service Centre will complement the range of health and well-being services already planned for the new building."
