Richard Clegg Dry stone walling specialist, a client of Build .co.uk is a Yorkshire based dry stone walling artist and craftsman.

He has contributed his talents to a second Chelsea Flower Show Gold medal winning garden the first being A Yorkshire Garden in 2003 and this years Bronte Garden. Richard researched the garden by visiting Top Withens above Howarth to gain a feel for the spirit and character of the environment that so profoundly influenced the Bronte sisters. The rugged nature of the stone and particularly the ruins to be found in the area inspired him to seek out the walling stone and boulders which he supplied to the Chelsea garden. The garden features a stream, a clapper bridge and elements of the landscape that are characteristic of the wild and windswept Pennine Moors including a ruin with a beautifully crafted window.
