Lovell which is based in Altrincham, Manchester, is celebrating achieving Investors in People Silver status.
The advanced recognition highlights the housing regeneration and maintenance specialist’s success in helping its workforce to develop and further their professional skills.
To achieve the Silver award, Lovell, which employs 230 staff in the North West and North Wales, had to meet a wide range of criteria beyond the Investors in People Standard. It puts Lovell in the top 2.9 per cent of the organisations which have achieved Investors in People accreditation.
The award assessors interviewed staff across the company – which also has offices in Liverpool and Mold - focusing on areas including development and training and how Lovell enables staff to develop their professional skills and enhance the service provided to customers.
"This is a superb achievement by our team, underlining their hard work and commitment to driving the business forward and achieving the highest standards of service for our customers," said Lovell regional director Nigel Yates.
"Major schemes for the company include a £13.8 million programme for Liverpool Mutual Homes to install new kitchens and bathrooms at over 2,500 homes. As part of the Compendium Group, Lovell is building a £6.9 million, 71-home housing scheme at Wood Lane, Liverpool, which will create 24 affordable homes for Riverside and 47 properties for sale. The company is also working on a £35 million refurbishment programme for Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd in Gwynedd to bring homes up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard."
