Thanks to Continental Underfloor's innovative use of superfast broadband, news has spread quickly about the company’s win at the recent Cornwall Business Awards for "Best use of Superfast".

Continental's ICT Manager Simon Smith and Chairman Chris Ingram accepted the award from Olympic medallist Roger Black and Jon Reynolds, Regional Director of BT. Continental were highly praised for their innovative use of IT systems and superfast to talk to plumbers across the UK, and deliver a swift and efficient service.

Olympian Roger Black said: "This is an exciting time to be a business in Cornwall. The county is in the process of rolling out a superfast broadband programme which will make it one of the best connected places in the world. In the same way that London 2012 is providing a world stage for athletes, Cornwall now has a world stage for its own business talent and expertise."

This is the second award listing for Continental with the Cornwall Business Awards, following a silver nomination for Best Use of Technology in 2006.
