The Leadbitter Group has completed construction of a new Guinness Hermitage housing complex for the over 55s in Lee-on-the-Solent in Gosport.
Bartlett Court is Leadbitter's latest project for housing association Guinness Hermitage, a member of the Guinness Partnership. The association provides high-quality housing to residents across the South and South West, maintaining and managing over 15,000 homes across the area.
Surinder Heer, Development Director at Guinness Hermitage commented: "Bartlett Court in Lee-on-the-Solent is an example of the modern design methods we are able to use to create desirable homes which support our residents and enable them to enjoy independent living."
Leadbitter's £3 million design and build contract involved the demolition of 24 flats and the construction of 39 one and two bedroom apartments in a new three storey building. The modern facilities include private balconies, a landscaped courtyard, communal laundry and lounge area.
David Cook, Regional Director of Leadbitter's Southern Housing and Construction division, said: "Leadbitter is delighted to deliver these new homes for the residents of Lee-on-the-Solent. This is our third successful project working in partnership with Guinness Hermitage in Hampshire, demonstrating our expertise in building affordable housing."
