John Sisk & Son Delivers Excelllence At Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards

John Sisk & Son has had its most successful year to date at the Considerate Constructors Scheme 2012 National Site Awards, receiving eight awards for excellent standards in industry practice towards its workforce, neighbours and the environment.

The National Site Awards acknowledge the highest scoring 7.5% of sites completed in 2011. With an average site score of 35 out of 40 points, John Sisk & Son consistently exceeded the industry average of 31.

John Sisk & Son was presented with a Gold award for its work at the Fullabrook Wind Farm site in North Devon. The site team were commended for exceptional measures taken to assist the local community and neighbours at the site, as well as its collaboration with local police and emergency services to provide training exercises. John Sisk & Son were also recognised for a first-class commitment to the local area, including giving regular charity donations, stocking the site canteen with local produce and hosting site visits for local students.

Three Silver awards were received for work on the Wembley W05, Bombardier Phase 2 and Cleveland STV 4 and 5 projects. The sites were commended for their high standards and excellent achievements in a range of categories including Safe, Considerate, Environment, Neighbour and Responsibility.

John Sisk & Son was also awarded Bronze for four of its sites: Market Place Buildings in Kettering, Bolsover Street Phase 2 in London, Oak Tree Court, and Mansion Court in Leicester.
