Mansell Energy is working with The Housing Forum on a series of regional workshops to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by the Green Deal and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
The workshops are designed to give key decision makers in the affordable housing industry a comprehensive understanding of the schemes. Demand is growing for solar thermal, biomass and photovoltaic infrastructure, as well as cavity and solid wall insulation, and combined heat and power.
This is an opportunity to hear from colleagues, officials and Mansell Energy about the impact the Green Deal and the Renewable Heat Incentive will have on affordable housing. Issues and concerns raised during round-table discussions will be the subject of a report published in time for the CIH National Conference in June.
Free to members of The Housing Forum, the half-day workshops will be held at three venues on the following dates:
•South West, 30 March 2012, Aztec Hotel, Bristol
•Midlands, 18 May 2012, Venue TBA
•North (Yorkshire / NE area), 25 May 2012, Venue TBA
A Green Deal workshop will also be a prominent feature of The Housing Forum’s National Conference at the Britannia International Hotel, London, on 26 April 2012. This is a chance to network with peers across the industry and listen to high profile speakers from government, industry and the City advancing debate and giving informed viewpoints highlighting the current issues affecting the housing industry today.
