Odournet UK Ltd has opened a new odour laboratory and consultancy office in Altrincham, continuing to build on its position of the UK’s leading odour assessment consultancy.

The facility is located in Bowden, Altrincham, and was chosen for its excellent transport links and proximity to Manchester airport. It provides Odournet with a base to expand its extensive existing portfolio of odour analysis and assessment services to clients in the north of England, Scotland and Ireland.

The odour laboratory is only the third of its kind in the UK, and uses trained odour panellists to appraise and characterise odour samples, for the purposes of solving environmental odour nuisance problems, and assessing the qualities of consumer products (e.g. deodorants). The facility will operate under Odournet’s existing UK accreditation Service (UKAS) certification compliant to British and International quality standards.
