As part of its ongoing commitment to superior customer care and supporting the growth of the UK PV industry, Krannich Solar UK today announces the appointment of David López as Technical Sales Director and the growth of their logistics and operational systems under the stewardship of Operations Director Kim Mann.
CEO Juan Romera-Wade has also been appointed to the Executive Committee of the British Photovoltaic Association (BPVA).
Newly appointed Technical Sales Director David López joined Krannich Solar UK as Regional Sales Manager shortly after the branch opened in October 2010, bringing with him a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise from both the PV and construction industries.
David previously worked at Krannich Solar Spain, where he was instrumental in the set-up, success and ongoing development of the specialist engineering, procurement and construction company Krannich Project Spain, which works on large-scale PV projects of 500Kw and above. As Technical Sales Director for Krannich Solar UK, David will be responsible for the management and operation of the Technical Support team as well as the newly opened Krannich Solar Academy, which offers installers comprehensive training and practical workshops on the function and installation of PV systems.
With 15 years experience in logistics and national distribution, Kim Mann has worked to streamline the development of Krannich Solar’s operations since joining the company in September 2011. With a keen focus on both maintaining and improving service levels and value for customers, key milestones have included the acquisition of additional warehousing as well as the training and management of a network of hauliers to ensure that all products - from a pack of screws to a container of solar modules – are delivered on time and to exact specifications. Kim’s expertise and unparalleled commitment to customer service excellence have already proved invaluable and epitomise Krannich Solar’s commitment to being the PV distributor of choice and a true partner for UK solar installers.
Since August 2010, CEO Juan Romera-Wade has been responsible for establishing Krannich Solar as one of the leading providers of PV systems in the UK market. As a newly appointed member of the BPVA committee, Juan will work with other committee members to develop and implement the Association’s core strategy in order to protect and promote the broader interests of the PV industry in the currently challenging marketplace.
Commenting on the development of the senior management team, Krannich Solar UK CEO Juan Romera-Wade said: "Appointing David as Technical Sales Director and realising Kim’s ambitions for developing and improving our logistics functions, from concept through to final execution, have been crucial in enabling us to improve our offering for customers and continue to secure a stronger market share. I am delighted to be appointed to the BPVA Executive Committee and look forward to working with industry peers as well as the Krannich Solar UK team to develop and implement strategies to deliver a sustainable growth plan for the UK solar PV industry now and in the future."
