Sweett Group, the property and infrastructure professional services consultancy has announced its appointment to provide contract administration and support services for the fitting out of the Shangri-La Hotel in the London Bridge Tower (The Shard), the tallest building currently under construction in Europe.

Located within the 34th to 52nd floors, the 5-star, 202-room 'Shangri-La At The Shard' is the first new-build 5-star hotel development in Central London in over a decade.

The full scope of Sweett Group’s appointment includes contract administration, planning, logistics and risk management advice and quality monitoring.

Commenting on the appointment, Paul Nash, Operations Director and Global Head of Hospitality at Sweett Group said: "We are delighted to have been selected by the Shangri-La Hotels Group to support them with the delivery of their first hotel in London.
