Blakedown Sport & Play have completed the installation of three full size artificial sports pitches, a scheme that was worth over £1 million.

Kineton School, Southam College and Queen Elizabeth School each funded their own project with the guidance of Warwickshire County Councils’ framework which included Ashe Construction to project manage all 3 schemes.

Kineton High School and Southam College both had a sand-filled multi-use surface installed which is lined for football, hockey and 5-a-side use.

Queen Elizabeth School had a 3G carpet installed with rubber crumb infill for football and 5-a-side use. All three pitches were completed with fencing and floodlights.

Director Paul Kenyon said: "We were extremely pleased to be building these projects and enjoyed the challenge of using our in-house expertise and knowledge to develop each scheme to the budget and requirement of the school. We hope that the colleges, schools and surrounding communities will benefit from these excellent facilities for many years to come."
