Seddon Construction has been appointed by Innovation Chain North West (ICNW), a partnership of four housing associations, to its four-year construction framework which is set to deliver housing schemes valued at up to £500 million.
ICNW's key members are Great Places Housing Group, Adactus Housing Group, Plus Dane Group and Harvest Housing. Thirty other housing associations are also members of the ICNW partnership.
Seddon Construction is one of 12 construction companies chosen to deliver projects for the framework partners across the North of England. The company has been appointed to all eight lots of the framework and will therefore be eligible to work on projects valued at between £500,000 and £10 million in locations including Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Humberside, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
"Seddon Construction has a strong track record in delivering new-build sustainable homes and in carrying out housing refurbishment and regeneration," said Jonathan Seddon, Managing Director of Seddon Construction. "We look forward to working with the housing associations and residents, using that expertise to help deliver high-quality, energy-efficient new and improved homes."
