A housing solutions specialist, has been appointed by Barnet Homes to deliver a range of services in a deal worth around £103 million over 10 years.

Lovell will deliver planned refurbishment work and electrical work across a portfolio of 15,000 homes.

The work will be completed for Barnet Homes, the arm’s length management organisation (ALMO), which manages and maintains homes and estates on behalf of Barnet Council.

Steve Coombs, regional director at Lovell said: "This is a key strategic contract for Lovell and we are thrilled to be working with Barnet Homes, its residents and the local community."

Tracey Lees, Chief Executive of Barnet Homes, added: "We have put a huge amount of effort in to selecting contractors who can deliver on both quality and price, and we very much look forward to working with Lovell on meeting our commitment to deliver a great service at great value for our residents."

Lovell will start work for Barnet Homes in April 2012.
