At a glittering awards ceremony recently at the Marriott Hotel, Park Lane, London, the new GRAHAM Headquarters won the 2011 'Corporate Workplace' UK National Award from the British Council for Offices.

Won in the face of tough competition, the award was open to a building commissioned by owner occupiers or where a building has been commissioned by a developer for the occupier. The entries were judged on the combined merits of the base build and the fit out.

Describing the state-of-the-art building, the judges commented: "GRAHAM was clearly intent on using its new headquarters building as a showcase for its skills and to emphasise its commitment to a sustainable agenda". They then went on to praise the firm's workmanship, design and attention to green credentials on the project."
