Optima Shortlisted At CMA Awards 2011

Optima have been shortlisted at the prestigous CMA Awards 2011 (Construction Marketing Awards) in the category of 'Best use of Technical Information'.

Optima embarked on a mission to present their core products in an innovative and industry leading way to help engage their client base and to differentiate themselves from their competitors. This resulted in the production of the new Optima iPad App. Optima's key objectives for the app were to present their key products in a user friendly and interactive interface where customers can browse products in greater detail and learn more about Optima Products and their benefits.

The primary objectives were to produce an application that offered a truly exceptional and engaging user experience in order to glorify Optima products and engage the end user using a far more interactive approach. The iPad app was only available to the Optima Sales team and a few core customers who Optima believed would benefit from the app, allowing the selected users access to technical documents, animations and video content.

The iPads will enable the company's sales force to use iPads in lieu of brochures and photo presenters thus, reducing the company's dependency on printed literature.

The awards are organised by CIMCIG (Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group) and features numerous categories. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 29th November.
