Premier Installation At Norwich City Football Club

Imofa UK, specialists in the design and manufacture of air handling units for public, commercial and industrial buildings, has recently supplied a bespoke unit for a new kitchen ventilation system at the Carrow Road stadium of newly promoted Barclays Premier League Club, Norwich City.

The new system, serves the Jarrold Stand Kitchen which caters for the Top of the City dining room (The Darren Huckerby Club on a match day), as well as the Jarrold Stand Executive Boxes. It is served by a single air handling unit with gas heating module, and is mounted on the Jarrold Stand roof. Unlike the previous roof fan boxes, which supplied unheated fresh air directly into the kitchen, the Imofa UK purpose-designed unit tempers the fresh air supply to maintain a comfortable environment - whatever the external weather conditions.

The complete design and installation was carried out as a turnkey project by

M & E Bartech Technical Services Ltd, specialists in commercial kitchens and associated ventilation, who installed the air handling unit, associated gas and controls systems, and new ductwork.

The new kitchen ventilation system at Norwich City has proven to be a success and two additional systems using Imofa UK air handling units are now being installed by Bartech Technical Services. These will serve both the Norfolk Lounge and Top of the Terrace kitchens in the Barclay Stand at Carrow Road .
