The Greenhatch Group, which provides measured building services to English Heritage and other prestigious conservation bodies, based in Derbyshire, has recently purchased an Imager 5010, High Resolution Laser Scanner from Zoller + Fröhlich based in Germany, being the first delivery destined for use in the United Kingdom.
The Imager 5010 utilises the very latest scanning technology available, recording point cloud data at speeds of up to 1 million points a second whilst still maintaining an accuracy in excess of 1 mm with a range of over 180m.
Built on the successful use of this Z+F laser scanner to record Stonehenge as an accurate 3D Model, the Greenhatch Group are now looking forward to utilising this specialist equipment on other prestigious and historic projects.
