Szerelmey Completes £520,000 Flooring Contract

Szerelmey, the stonework and restoration specialist, has completed a £520,000 flooring contract at Westfield Stratford City London.

Located next to the 2012 Olympic Park, it will be the largest urban shopping centre in Europe when it opens on 13th September, with 1.9m sq ft of retail and leisure space.

Szerelmey installed a large percentage of external stone flooring and stairs to the shopping centre. The stone was imported from China.

The 300-store and 70 places to dine retail and entertainment destination is part of the significant programme to regenerate East London before the 2012 Olympic Games. The Olympic Park which is hosting athletics and other Olympic sports is also located in Stratford.

Szerelmey was appointed by Westfield.
