Morgan Sindall has secured two new school contracts worth a total of £5.5 million in the London Borough of Brent.
The firm, which has an office in Welwyn Garden City, has been appointed to carry out extension and refurbishment works at Newfield Primary School and Brentfield Primary School.

Morgan Sindall will build a 1,200 sq mextension at Brentfield Primary School to create seven new classrooms. The existing building will benefit from internal remodelling to make better use of space, while landscape work will also be carried out to create a multi-use games area.
The investment by the London Borough of Brent will create an additional 210 places at both Newfield and Brentfield, representing a significant effort by the borough to expand its entry level intake.
Harry Robinson, Contracts Manager at Morgan Sindall, said: "Our experience and ability to deliver education projects plays a big part in maintaining a steady flow of new business and creating a very healthy order book.
"Our strength in the sector continues to grow, with Morgan Sindall being recognised for its ability to complete schemes on time, within budget and to the highest standards. This is reflected in the amount of repeat work we are securing with clients such as the London Borough of Brent."
The contractor has moved on site and work is due for completion in November 2011.
