Capita Symonds has been appointed by Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust, the affordable housing arm of Birmingham City Council, to deliver a further 200 dwellings across the city.
The £20 million project will be split across a number of sites in and around Birmingham including regeneration areas of Kings Norton and Northfield.
Capita Symonds will manage the entire delivery process from site surveys and investigations, through the design stages, procurement, handover and occupation of the completed dwellings.
The company's services are being provided under the government's £750 million Buying Solutions Project Management & Full Design Team Services Framework, the biggest multidisciplinary public sector framework for property and construction services in the UK.
Capita Symonds Project Director David Robertson said: "This further commission from Birmingham City Council’s Housing Department extends our involvement. We are rightly proud of our track record in this sector and our strong relationship with Birmingham City Council."
