Construction News Image
S Jones Container Services Ltd have this week applied for planning permission to expand their workshops in Anglian Road, Aldridge, West Midlands in order to accommodate for growing demand in the container modification area of their container hire and sales business.

Predominantly, the workshop expansion will aid growing demand for customers requiring modified containers to house processes and equipment both domestically and for shipment abroad.

S Jones, a family business, was first formed as a transport company in 1914 and entered the shipping container business in the 1970's during the container revolution. This expansion plan reflects a time of continued development and growth for S Jones Container Services Ltd whose nationwide container hire, sale and modification business and self storage businesses in Aldridge and West Bromwich have experienced increased business of late. Should the planning permission request be accepted, S Jones hope that the increased productivity will better serve their nationwide customers.
