Sanctuary Group Award Mansell £2.8m Housing Contract In Bicester

Leading UK housing and care provider Sanctuary Group has awarded Mansell a £2.8 million affordable housing contract in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

This is the fourth contract the Milton Keynes team have been awarded by the customer.

The works to construct Bryan House will involve the design and build of 23 new residential units at a town centre site, which will be managed by Sanctuary in Cherwell.

The development has been made possible thanks to the combined efforts of Sanctuary, Cherwell District Council and the Homes and Communities Agency, the national housing and delivery regeneration agency for England.

All homes will be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Levels 4 and 5, this will be achieved through high levels of insulation, Photo Voltaic cells on the roofs and energy efficient heating systems.

Work has just started on site and will complete in March 2012.
