HCA Textile Diffusers Project Review

Queen Mary University Library London

Welcome to the third of our Project Reviews.
This is one for the Queen Mary University Library in London. Thanks must first go to the Contractor, Consultant and Client for allowing us to use this installation for one of our Project Reviews.

Queen Mary University Library is an interesting space – designed for working and socialising as well as traditional research & quiet contemplation. It’s a dynamic social space and the brief for the design of the Textile Diffusers focussed as much on the Aesthetics as it did the performance of the distribution.

We supplied Flame Retardant Clean Room Quality, Non Fibre Shedding Material that also has an Anti-Microbial coating. The bright RED colour contrasts with the Jet Black ceiling to highlight the Diffusers. The system is full Tempered Fresh Air and designed to distribute evenly per linear metre.
