London Road, a major new affordable housing scheme in Hounslow has reached a construction milestone.

Affordable housing provider Catalyst Housing Group joined Mansell and the Mayor of Hounslow to celebrate the 'topping out' ceremony.

The framework of the new £15 million scheme is now in place thanks to the assistance of Hester Architects, Campbell Reith (Consulting Engineer) and John Rowan & Partners (Construction Consultants).

The development will deliver a total of 76 one, two and three-bed apartments over six floors with a provision for commercial space on the ground floor, in the heart of Hounslow.

Tim Brown, Regional Managing Director, Mansell commented: "The delivery of this exciting and essential project for Hounslow not only signifies the first stage of regeneration for the London Road area, it also represents an opportunity for us to progress our relationship with CHG from construction provider to development partner and cement our long and successful relationship with Catalyst Housing Group."

The building will create a gateway to Hounslow town centre and will transform a derelict site into a local landmark with a modern architectural twist.
