Mansell has won a £4.2 million landmark housing project in Brownhills for Walsall Housing Group.

The canal side development will set the standard for future homes in the area, providing 47 two-bed apartments. Four ground floor properties have been specifically designed to accommodate people with a disability. Landscaping and a gated car park will complement the scheme.

Mansell will use local labour to support the economy of the borough and offer construction training opportunities.

Mansell's Divisional Manager of Partnership Housing in the Midlands & North Simon Liversage said: "We are delighted to be involved in such an important development and to have the opportunity to support the borough’s economy through training and local engagement."

The project has recently started on site and will complete in May 2012.
