A surge in post-Christmas divorces has seen a boost in business for a local building surveyor Leeds who deals with matrimonial disputes.

A recent survey found that 1 in 5 couples felt they were on 'shaky ground' after Christmas, with partners believing their relationship 'could end in a separation'.

Solicitors across the country say that the festive period has seen a 'roaring trade in separations'.
