Cyril Sweett, the international construction and property consultancy, has announced the signing of alliance agreements with two leading project management firms in North America.

The agreements, with Washington D.C. based Alpha Corporation and New York City based VVA, mark the latest step in the Group's strategy to expand internationally.

The agreements are a significant step in developing Cyril Sweett's global service offering in the commercial sector. In addition to providing the Group with access to the North American construction market and a significant number of US based global corporate clients, the alliances ill help to facilitate the development of a programme and project management service offering cross all three partners' networks of offices.

Cyril Sweett's investments business will also benefit from a local presence in North America, as the Group looks to further diversify its PPP/PFI portfolio across sectors and regions outside the UK.
