The first of four websites being re-launched by East Sussex based company Round Wood of Mayfield has now gone live.
It showcases the strand of the business that supplies 'Quality Oak & Decking Products', including solid and engineered flooring, hardwood decking, oak skirting, joinery, beams and sleepers.
It can be accessed via their new portal at www.roundwood.com, which also links to the websites for the other three strands of the company: 'Oak Framed Buildings,’ ‘Chippy Kit Garages' and 'Home & Garden Features'. All are currently being redeveloped and are expected to be re-launched in stages over the next six months.
'Quality Oak & Decking Products' introduces an attractive, image-led design theme that will be consistent across all four sites. Its structure has been developed to ensure ease of navigation and provide context sensitive product details and guides, allowing users to retrieve the exact level of information they require in the fastest possible time.
The new Oak & Decking Products site showcases over 200 products from six broad product categories:
Hardwood Garden Decking
A selection of high end decking boards and components cut principally from hard woods, including Ipe, Balau, Massaranduba and Oak. The only softwood decking offered is cut from Cedar, given the protection its high level of natural oils affords.
Solid & Engineered Oak Flooring
Oak floor boards are available in both solid and engineered form, along with a selection of fitting and finishing accessories. Engineered boards should not be confused with far inferior laminates. They feature a thick wear layer of oak and are indeterminable from solid once form. Engineered Walnut flooring is also offered.
High End Joinery
Internal and External oak doors feature heavily in the joinery range. Other products include garage doors and window board. Bespoke joinery is also provided through a dedicated joinery workshop.
Skirting & Architrave
Round Wood of Mayfield offer the rare service of machining oak mouldings to order. Skirting and Architraves are available in 8 profiles and a range of heights.
Beams, Sleepers & Oak Cubes
A wide variety of beams can be cut and supplied from the large stocks of Green and Air Dried Oak held at Round Wood. Sleepers, staple pins, benches, oak cubes and plinths are also offered.
Other Ranges
The selection of related products that are available includes oils and varnishes, tiles, cedar shingles, worktops, oak latches and ironmongery. The majority of the ironmongery is hand forged in the centuries old tradition and features door hinges, latches and window furniture. All complement our joinery products perfectly.
Round Wood of Mayfield operates from it facility in East Sussex and delivers nationwide using its own vehicles or a long established network of couriers.
