Things are looking grim in Grimsby with more than 100 jobs in jeopardy at two firms in the area.
Some 60 staff at a building firm have been laid off with news that the administrators confirmed Clark Construction at North Killingholme had ceased trading.
The building company previously carried out projects for local authorities.
The P&A Partnership, Sheffield, who were appointed administrators, confirmed that Clark Construction had ceased trading and that all 60 employees had been made redundant.
In other jobs news, the Findus Group said it had entered a 30-day consultation with staff at its Humberstone Road site, which could result in up to 84 redundancies.
The company said the proposals were related to manufacturing contracts, which are due to end in February.
