CECA's National Director, Rosemary Beales, is to step down in March 2011, the organisation announced today.
Commenting, Rosemary Beales said: "After significant thought over some period of time I have decided to leave CECA at the end of March 2011.
"Having worked to help establish CECA in 1996 after the dissolution of the Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors and having seen the Association through considerable growth and change, I remain extremely proud of my role at CECA and everything we have achieved. I believe CECA is an active, positive and influential part of public life in the United Kingdom and will continue to provide leadership to the construction industry.
"After nearly a decade and a half in post it would be impossible not to have grown strongly attached to the organisation and the many people I have had the privilege of working with throughout that time, both staff, members and the many others who make up our industry and its clients. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support I received during my time as National Director and to formally wish you the very best for the future."
Bam Nuttall Chief Executive Stephen Fox, added: "Thanks to Rosemary’s leadership, CECA is an asset to the industry. I wish her all the very best for the future."
