Statutory Maintenance & Remedial Works for the University of Hertfordshire

Graham FM has been awarded a contract to provide statutory maintenance and minor works for the University of Hertfordshire’s estate.

Under the scope of the Contract, Graham FM will also provide support and maintenance to the University’s Data Centres Critical Systems.

The University of Hertfordshire is one of its region’s largest employers, with over 2,500 staff and a turnover of more than £200 million.

With a student community of over 24,000, including more than 2,000 international students from over 85 different countries, the University has a global network of over 100,000 alumni. The Estate boasts over 130 diverse properties, each of which to be included under the arrangement.

Graham FM will inspect and test building related services to ensure statutory compliance throughout the University’s Estates, inclusive of electrical, mechanical, building fabric services and 24/7/365 Helpdesk. Furthermore, the contract will also include a suite of environmental services.

Graham FM will deliver the services drawing upon a team of local, directly employed multi-disciplined maintenance engineers and environmental services team, supported by a network of supply chain partners in the delivery of specialist maintenance activities only.

Services commenced onsite on 1st December 2010 for a duration of 3 years, with a local management team based in Hatfield.
