May Gurney has been awarded a new AMP5 contract with Bristol Water worth up to £12 million.
The Bristol Water New Lay Trunk Mains Framework runs until March 2015 and includes the installation of up to 35km of new strategic trunk mains up to 900mm in diameter. May Gurney is Bristol Water's single partner on this framework.
Bristol Water selected May Gurney because of its skilled employees with a drive for continuous improvement, and track record of innovation and saving money through design challenge and value engineering/management.
Tim Collingwood, May Gurney Business Development Director, said: "We are naturally delighted to be awarded this framework and are committed to delivering excellent customer service, best performance and great value for Bristol Water over the remainder of AMP5.
"This framework aligns closely with our adjacent Strategic Grid Framework with Wessex Water which was won earlier this year."
