'SE Controls - Partners In Facade Fabrication'

Facades in most new buildings now incorporate some form of automated opening devices to control adaptive day to day natural ventilation and provide smoke ventilation in case of fire. The correct placing and fitting of window opening devices is crucial to providing the client with a long lasting and trouble free installation. But it's not just the correct specification and placement of the devices which needs to be taken into consideration - SE Controls have for some time been working closely with the large facade fabricators and installers in the UK to provide specification and application assistance. Once correctly specified, SE controls supply the equipment and details for correct installation within a facade.

Once the facade is installed, SE Controls complete the wiring and implements the control strategy. In addition, SE Controls commissions the system in the completed build and also offer routine maintenance and inspection services. Where smoke ventilation is required the same vents can be used and linked to the fire alarm system with manual overrides for local operation. There are many various options to suit all applications.

Partnering in the area of design and supply with facade fabricators/installers is crucial to ensure trouble free installation and commissioning, most importantly getting the job done right first time and to budget.

SE Controls offer a complete service from design through to maintenance of Smoke and Natural Ventilation Control Systems for any building. More information on systems and services can be found at www.secontrols.com To discuss a requirement with SE Controls, or request a copy of the printed literature, please call their head office in Lichfield on 01543 443060.
