Midlands based security company, Detectnology, has provided security equipment and technical support for this year's Ryder Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort, City of Newport, Wales.
This included the installation, commissioning, servicing and de-commissioning of Archway Metal Detectors, hand-held scanners and X-Ray equipment which was deployed at key locations around The Twenty Ten Course and at the event Park & Ride sites.
Event organisers, Ryder Cup Ltd, selected Detectnology because of the company’s proven delivery capability, coupled with its dedicated, specialist experience and expertise in this sector.

Detectnology has also worked on a variety of major sporting and other prestigious events throughout the UK including The Open Championship, Aintree Grand National, Test Cricket and World Indoor Athletics.
The company also works extensively in the Public Sector for HMP Prisons and Courts Services and the Police.
