Mansell Scoops £6.3m Contract To Upgrade Ventilation Shafts

Mansell has won a £6.3 million contract to upgrade four mid tunnel ventilation shafts on the Victoria Line for Transport for London (TFL).

The complex refurbishment and engineering project will see Mansell supply, integrate and construct fans enabling twice as much heat to be removed from the tunnels and temperatures to be controlled.

This is the second contract Mansell has secured through TFL to upgrade the mid tunnel ventilation shafts.

Work has recently started on site and will complete in November 2011.
